September is a stunning time of year in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. It is right when summer comes to an end, but before the fall colors start to settle in—the perfect time for a wedding. Sam and Ryan are East Coast natives who knew exactly when and where they wanted to have their wedding day. I loved working with this couple and finding ways for their personalities to come out in the details of their wedding.

When I met them for the first time, my favorite thing about them was the way that they always know how to make each other laugh. Watching them plan this wedding together showed me that they were the perfect match to take on the world together. Sam and Ryan were married in a beautiful church just outside of historic Philadelphia, surrounded by their family and friends. After exiting the church, we had a trolley waiting to take the wedding party from the ceremony to their cocktail hour and reception at the Bluestone Country Club.

Bluestone Country Club has a beautiful ballroom, golf course, and an outdoor garden where you can sneak away and take photos. Their full-service kitchen does not disappoint—the plated meals for weddings are absolutely incredible. This, paired with an extravagant cocktail hour, a full open bar, and a dessert bar that includes a custom ice sculpture chosen by each couple, made for an unforgettable celebration.

Working with Sam and Ryan was so much fun. They worked so hard to make this wedding their own and to make the day memorable for themselves and for their guests. From their custom seating chart to their simple, yet elegant, centerpieces, Sam and Ryan brought their vision to life. They came into our initial meeting wanting a big party with their favorite people, and that’s exactly what they got at the end of the day.
