Wedding Checklist: Tasks for the Wedding Week
You are officially in the final countdown of wedding planning—congrats! All of your hard work is about to come to life! Keeping track of all the little things you need to do in the week leading up to the big day can be a little overwhelming. So, to make things a little easier for you, I've compiled a list of wedding week tasks.
The Week of:
Send out the final schedule to vendors and important guests
Finish your last beauty treatments-this includes tanning, hair treatments, and eyelashes
Pack your décor if you’ve bought or DIY-ed any of it. Your venue and/or planner will most likely be handling most of this, but if there is anything that you have on hand, it's time to get it packed up and ready to use on the big day.
Pack personal items for the wedding day -this includes things like
Flatlay supplies
Attire & accessories
Gifts
Pack for the honeymoon - remember your swimsuits! When packing up, take into account where you are going and how many days you’ll be there. Don’t leave anything out to be put in later, because after the wedding can be quite a whirlwind, and you don’t want to have to worry about any more last-minute packing.
Assign tasks to the wedding party - you don’t have to do it all alone. Your family and friends are there to help you make your day as effortless as possible. Reach out to your planner if you need ideas for tasks to designate.
Finalize the ceremony line-up
Get your rings cleaned!
Pick up attire - make sure that everything is accounted for and packed up in a safe and clean space.
The Day Before:
Mani + Pedi - this is where the fun begins! Take your mom, sisters, or even your entire bridal party to go and relax and have fun getting your nails done together.
BREATHE! It is normal to start to feel a little panicked once family starts showing up and things start to feel a little more real. Remember to take a moment and breathe.
Deliver welcome bags - as everyone starts arriving from out of town, you can take little welcome bags around to show how much you appreciate them being there for your special day.
Enjoy the friends and family in town to celebrate with you
Drink lots of water - the last thing we want is a dehydrated bride or groom! With everything going on, make sure that you have someone reminding you to drink water.
Pack snacks for the wedding day
Attend the rehearsal + dinner
The Day Of:
Drink enough water - Don’t over hydrate (so you have to deal with that huge dress in the bathroom every hour) but don’t let yourself get dehydrated
Eat yummy food - make sure someone gets food & drinks for you throughout the day so you don’t miss out on everything you’ve planned!
Celebrate with your guests
MARRY YOUR BEST FRIEND
